Our Mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

OUR CAUSE CAUSA
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That is why we focus our work in three areas:

Our Vision is to unify around our cause and collaborate to address the most pressing issues of the day. We aspire to contribute powerfully to the life in Long Beach and partner cities we serve, to strengthen the foundation of the community, and to show, by example of our work, how people of all backgrounds can live together and grow toward their full potential.
Unir nuestra causa y colaborar para abordar los problemas más apremiantes del día. We will operate as a cause-driven organization addressing community needs through programs, developing relationships with and among members, collaborating with others, developing passionate cause-driven leaders, ensuring access, inclusion and engagement for all, advocating to influence public policy, and measuring our impact while promoting and protecting the Y brand.
Vamos a operar como una organización en cual aborda las necesidades de la comunidad a través de programas, el desarrollo de líderes motivados por la causa, asegurando acceso, incluyendo a todos, defendiendo políticas públicas, y midiendo el impacto durante la promoción y la protección de la Y.
