Before & After School Childcare Program
Our Before and After School Care program provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop social skills. Program curriculum includes homework assistance, reading, arts and crafts projects, art appreciation, outdoor play, and specialty activities designed to the specific needs of the site. All after school sites include a nutritious snack provided by the Y.
All Childcare program sites run in alignment with the LBUSD school schedule. Optional Days and Day Camp options are available when school is not in session.

*Students who register for AM care will need to be dropped off at Gompers in the mornings and transportation will be provided.
Rates | 2025 - 2026 School Year
Monthly Fee (charged on the 1st of the month) - Rates September 2025 to June 2026. Please note that we do not prorate. Our rates reflect the entire school year, including vehicle transportation, minimum school-day accommodations, and parent-teacher conferences. Separate registration costs apply for our Day Camps and Optional Days.

Third-party/Agency Payments
Please follow the steps below regarding third-party payments.
- Agency participants will not be allowed to start our program unless a current certificate outlining the service hours is on file with Victoria Correa at victoria.correa@LBymca.org.
- Once a certificate is received, the caregiver must reach out to Victoria to discuss confirmation of registration and timesheet approval process.
- All fees not covered by the third-party agency will be the parent's responsibility.
Financial Assistance
- Please complete the entire financial assistance application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. When completed, the requested documentation must be attached to the packet or email.
- Turn in the completed application in person Monday - Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm or email with all required documentation included to Program Director, Aiko Lopez at aiko.lopez@lbymca.org.
- Once you are approved for financial assistance, we will manually apply it to your account and make the applicable adjustments.
